What to do

There are a lot of things to do in San Diego. You can easily spend months exploring this city before you can get a feel for it. Here are some things definitely worth checking out.

Parks

If you’re looking for a place to walk, run, or hike, there are lot of parks around town with views of the city or beach. Be sure to check Balboa Park (wedding location) including the World Famous San Diego Zoo (inside Balboa Park). Go for a small hike that ends at the beach by going to Torrey Pines or if you’re feeling more adventurous go for a steep hike up one of the peaks at Mission Trails Regional Park. If you have time to drive up north, we also recommend the San Diego Botanical Garden. Click on each image to find out more!

Beaches

Obviously there are a lot of beaches worth exploring in San Diego, so pack your bathing suit! You can go to the beach next to the famous Hotel Del Coronado then check out the rest of the Island to see where Katherine went to High School, then take a boat trip around the Bay. Or you can drive to other parts of the coast to check out the hippie surfer scene at Ocean Beach or upscale La Jolla (for those fancy pants) where UCSD is located

Other Hoods

Here are a few more neighborhoods you might be interested in checking out. Little Italy and the Gaslamp district are both located around downtown and there are a lot of bars and restaurants worth exploring. North and South Park are located just east of Balboa Park and have some of San Diego’s best bars, restaurants, and little shops.
